I have had 'proper' kebabs, in Turkey, which are lush. Kebabs should be for when you're drunk, and only then.

I've never had a doner kebab but have had a chicken kebab which was just big chunks of chicken and salad and very nice.

Had a few yrs ago, coming out of the pub on a Friday night!
They were scrumptious, tasted gorgeous.
