Ok, I seem to be the only person I know that remembers this show.  At least 13 or so years ago, way before sliders, Jerry O'Connell was on a t.v. show where he had a scientist friend. Jerry was maybe 15 or so and the scientist was in his 30's. I think Jerry mishapped on an experiment, cuz he could run really fast.

Your right LeMarchand the programme was called "My Secret Identity".It was a show from the late 80's.
