In my life, I've encountered three... 'comedic'... answers to this question. My dad used to say the first two: 'Off me rocker' or 'There and back, see how far it is'. I heard another yesterday: 'To hell and back if I don't change my ways'. Anyone know any others?

'To Hell on a wheelbarrow', 'Up the Clyde on a biscuit', 'Off my head- d'you want to come with me?'
'To San Jos... Do you know the way?'
My Dad used to say 'To see a man about a dog'.
Round the bend and back again
My mum always says "to Bubbeth park" - have no idea if this place really exsists, it's something her yorkshire father used to say to her!!
Katiesara - "bubbeth" is more than likely Bubwith, which is near Selby.

Ally_cat - "to see a man about a dog" means to go for a pee. Indiesinger - your father might also have said "round the jinny 'orner" or "I'm going back to immazaz"

Postie, is that anything to do with the Oomatingy Tribe of South Africa?
"To see a dog about a circus" (probably just a silly variation on AllyCat's answer, and "To hell in a handbasket", which I always particularly liked...
