Was having a lovely chat about spam and corned beef and baps

(quite rightly thread was pulled)

A tin of spam used to be cheap, but it's more expensive than corned beef now.

I know the cheaper things have gone up in price due to demand, but anyone else think it's a blooming rip-off?

Are you sure it's dearer than corned beef alba? I haven't noticed.
Why was it pulled? (and don't say 'cos it was spam')
OK I wont!

Mr Alba's away to work with my baps, all 3 of them.
3? Freaky... could've been in a Barnum and Bailey's sideshow.
I just fritter away my money buying spam x

Alba's baps..the mind boggles!!
Spam is the food of the devil, I'm amazed that people still eat the suff, Vile mush!
there's a sandwich van on the Isle of Man (in Balthane, near the airport) called "Heather's Baps" -

then open the "street view" - heather's baps is behind the yellow container stood at the roadside.
Maybe because the quality of corned beef seems to have fallen ?
I don't mind either, but they are an occasional food for me. They tend to be high fat/high calorie.
Anyone remember an ancient sitcom called 'Is it legal?' I seem to remember one of the characters of a certain law firm fancying the woman who sold sandwiches and BAPS!
