The weekend is here for you all.
Rise and shine, rub the sleep from your eyes, make a brew and have a natter.

Afternoon oz. I've been busy dealing emails and all the stuff that goes with the ones that require an answer.

Dry but cloudy here this morning. some breeze just to things active.

How are you and the family mate?
Question Author
G'day Boaty, got a mug of coffee in your mitt?, black of course with no sugar.

Been a warm day here, family is all good thanks. Youngest Ozzies, along with my future ex-daughter inlaw :-) have been in Dubbo today competing in the "Country Cup" Touch football competition. Mrs Oz has gone along too, cheering and supplying first-aid. So far 3 wins and 1 loss. They are doing well.

How are you plodding along old mate?
I'm fine thanks mate. Plodding along as you do. :o}

That sounds like a lot of fun. :o}

Future ex-daughter-in-law? Sounds intriguing. Got two big rugby games to watch today. I may well miss the final next week as I will be away.
Just watching the weather deport on the idiot box. I don't think I will be going far today!

I've got a busy week coming up, Monday and Tuesday taken up with preparations for the official launch of the new charity, Cotswold Boatmobility on Wednesday. The hospice Thursday morning and away from there to Yate early afternoon. Once I get to my friends' house I wll have time to sit and unwind for a while.

All go!
I really must edit before I post :o{
Some swine has drunk me coffee. The rat!

Back in a tick.
That's better! :o}

//Future ex-daughter inlaw//

My boys have supplied a few of the above over the years ;-)

You wont be growing any barnacles over the next week Boaty.

Hope the launch of the disability boat goes to plan, bottle of champers across the bow?

Ozzies vs the Argies I believe. I'm a bit reluctant when it comes to "Ruggers" after the last game the Aussies played :-( Not how they played, more so the ref!)
Now I understand re the ex. That's very much the way of it now isn't it.

no chance of barnacles or anything else this week. It will be a lot of fun...I hope!

On the day I will be on Endeavour, our trip boat on the Stroudwater Navigation Canal, the one that goes through Stroud, where the launch is taking place, just by the Council offices. I'll have the press on board for the event, then afterwards we will give anyone that wants one, a short
ride. I just hope the weather is kind to us.
There have been quite a few questionable reffing decisions mate. A wrong one put Wales out. The authorities have said it was wrong, but they won't overturn the result and reinstate Scotland, although I think they should.

I've got my fingers crossed weather wise. Hope it all goes to plan.

As for "future ex's" I've always told my kids "there are many fish in the sea".

Hope that doesn't come across like I've encouraged them to be players.
More so, make a decision when you are totally happy, not before!!!!
Sound advice mate. I did the same. Both married well.

But I guess if the penalty wasn't awarded Scotland would have played safe and taken the match. But who knows what may have happened?

Can't turn back time.

Sack the ref!!!!!
Southern hemisphere mate. It was right in front of him. I can't believe he didn't see it come off an argie.
Scotland ladies are doing well in the Ladies Euro football. They beat Belarus 7 nil.
Question Author
He should've gone to Specsavers ;-).

Just on a side note, I've pre-cooked bits of chicken and beef spare ribs. De-boned and trimmed fat from the beef. I now intend to mince some Spanish Onion and Roma Tomatoes to smother them with, half an hour in the oven to warm, served with some salad and herb bread.

Hopefully when the hungry hoards arrive they will tuck in ;-)
Got some garlic in there mate? It sounds delicious though. I love garlic. Nature's medicine chest, the onion family.
I'm making some toad-in-the-hole for lunch today. I'll have that with some chips and mushrooms.
Question Author
Mmmmm,,,garlic, I nearly forgot.

Yes,,, spoonfuls now you have reminded me.

Love the stuff and haven't had a cold for Lord knows how long.

Natures medicine chest indeed!!!!
G'day otto xx
