A superb chance to see the Vulcan XH558 on the Salute to the V Force Tour around the country this weekend. It's final year of flying!

Nobody interested?
Seems to be a bit of a lack of viewing opportunities north of the border, Ann.

I'll keep an ear and an eye out though. Not known for their stealth approach.
I am Ann, I see that it is due at Cosford this afternoon but looking at the route I don't think it will pass close enough to me to see it Doh.
Oh hang on though, I might see it on it's way from Cosford to East Mids.
Oh well all too far from Glasgow. I like that sort of thing

Had an amazing view of it at East Midlands airport this afternoon at 3.40pm, thousands of people and cars lining the roads to the airport! Did a mini display for us - flypasts and vertical turns even flying upside down - a proper show off!! Second time round on the flypast "she" gave a real "roar" which thrilled the crowds. How sad this is the last season of flying when it attracts crowds and brings such pleasure to so many!

Another chance to see it tomorrow - check the different route on link I gave earlier, you may see it!
Didn't come my way Ann.
Caught a fleeting glance of it whilst at work - beautiful (Woodford in Cheshire)
I looked out for it here in Rossendale East Lancashire but wasn't lucky enough to spot it, fantastic sight I am sure for all who were lucky!
I missed it over Manchester, which was a shame, but too hot for me to go trekking up near Manchester Airport or Barton to get to see it, my Rheumatoid Arthritis and heat don't go together!).

Hoped to catch a glimpse as only 6 miles from the Airport but no joy. Must have been a fantastic sight though!

I used to do flying and glider training at Cosford :)
Was you in the air cadets, Eve ?.
I was, great times :)
I thought so, Eve.

I have a young female relative in the air cadets, she loves it.
Its due to fly over Norfolk at 2.45pm today, although its a miserable wet and cloudy day here, no doubt we'll hear it if we can't see it.
