Two-thirds of the BBC 6 o'clock news tonight consisted of Election 'news'

Are going to have to endure this *** every day for the next 6 weeks?

Yes, but it may increase to 75%- and then there will be a party political broadcast

Can we not have separate programmes?

One for Election *** and one for genuine news folk are actually interested in?
Sick of it all already. Hate everything politics, it's just a circus with clowns that want to run the country who are not better than each other.
Blue Tories, Red Tories they both screw you over, can't trust them.

Didn't watch the BBC News because of the Election coverage, I just watched Home & Away on C5 then made some tea.

Roll on Christmas...

I record the BBC news and both local BBC and ITV local news programmes

Love the fast forward button on my remote!
I agree JoLuke. Are we going to bombarded with our 'Political Giants' now especially that Sturgeon woman, why do I keep thinking of the Krankies? And why are we copying the USA with Hustings for gawds sake. Fed up of it already.

'that Sturgeon woman, why do I keep thinking of the Krankies?'

Like it AYG, I can see where you're coming from there

She's just Salmond in a skirt
"That Sturgeon woman" and "Salmond in a skirt" ?
Very petty!
Are these remarks supposed to be part of a political debate?
Yes, unless there is another dreadful catastrophe.
'Fraid so ... but that's fine by me. I like competitions.
I think the English have enough problems with their own politicians without even taking notice of the Scottish first minister.
It is all becoming too far americanised and as for the debates.... does anyone remember the last one when Clegg was announced the winner. What a farce!
Getting quite good at election dodging

Fortunately, my telly has an "off" button so I don't HAVE to listen or watch any of it.
Looks like that Sturgeon woman will hold the balance of power - better get to like her...
I saw the first of the election posters yesterday. The SDLP and Sinn Fein were first out of the traps. Soon the lampposts will be covered in them.
That's what I miss about N Ireland. We certainly know how to do a good election poster. And of course you rarely see them anywhere but in public places. Ukraine is the same. And most of them stay up for months :-)
Not if you turn the television off and do something else instead, which is what we will do.
