I remember giving a belly button brush to an old boyfriend. It was in a beautiful box, and was alovelysoft brush which was to get rid of fluff from your belly button!! I did it as a joke, but he had not sense of humour although I thought he had. We finished shortly after!! The worst thing I got  that I can remember is a present that was wrapped up (I was abroad visiting friends) and when I unwrapped it there was a second layer of wrapping on it with a card wishing SOMEONE else a happy christmas!!  It was a dreadful cup and saucer set - how I was meant to cart it home was anyone's guess...My friend who gave me that is useless about giving pressies, one year I got a glass bottle, another time a plastic bag that she must have got on offer,,,,, Still I accept that that is the way she is.. I try to give something that suits the other person, and also something I would like to get myself.  Oh!! I must go and polish my halo now,,,,,

susan i am baffled where on earth did you get a belly button brush, my dad could do with one!!

my worst present, a bottle of the most gross perfume, in a strange patterned egg bottle, i was 12 at the time and most unimpressed!

The worst present you can get is the one that you know the sender hasn't put one iota of thought into and it would be preferable to have nothing at all, like the box of Quality Street to share between the whole family, because she can't be arsed to think what to get for any of us! When I was younger though, it used to be hand-knitted socks that scraped the skin off your toes and sweaters that were so naff, but thankfully those days are long gone! Having said that, if someone put that much effort into making those things for you, at least it showed they cared.

Worst present I've given? Well I'm sure someone will have found something to complain about at some point because I get really paranoid about it with everything I buy and my hubby HATES shopping with me at Christmas, but I really, honestly do try and buy something I think the person will like.

Years ago I had a manicure set (I bit my nails). A Skillet (because it might come in useful). A saucepan set. Chocolates (I don't like chocolate - I know I'm weird). A REALLY nasty purse and handbag. My mother really must learn!
My last birthday I got Body Shop vouchers from work. I have yet to find anything from them that doesn't bring me out in a rash - yes my boss who organises presents knows this!
I've been dealt a really bum deal in the presents department. Time to get my own back methinks! Teehee
When I was five years old I woke up one christmas to find that my mother had bought me a George Formby album.
I once gave my other half a sterling silver party popper holder...
