I lost the internet for three days. Got it sorted yesterday. Still lots of snow lying about the place, more to come 'they' say. The novelty is wearing a bit thin now. Still, the young'uns are having fun!
Have a good day everyone.

Hey,
It's still snowing where I am :)
Question Author
Morning diz. It's clear here in Gloucestershire at the moment, but we are due to cop it this afternoon it seems. Where are you?
I live on the outskirts of Sheffield and Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
oh and morning, sorry I've not been to bed yet so I'm used to saying good evening :)
Question Author
lol. Up late or working nights?
I seem to have managed to get into this sleeping pattern it seems! Well actually it isn't working very well, theres not many shops open between 12am - 3pm lol

I'm currently trying to better myself by retaking my G.C.S.Es then A-Levels and then with a bit of luck..... pauses....... Medical School.

Good for you! A strange sleeping pattern though. I'm always up early, best time of the day. especially in summer.
It might have something to do with me being a bar man and relief bar steward for 4 years, I always used to stay up really late after getting home from work. I must admit though it is nice and peaceful doing work through the nice and the added bonus is that once I've done a full work shift I can catch the morning post :)
nice? I mean night.
Question Author
You're right there! I've done a bit behind the bar, and a lot in front of it! so I know what you mean. The peace and quiet are priceless.
The best part about a bar is being in front of it with a nice pint of real ale, mmm Lancaster Bomber (the stuff that bombs the inside of my mums skull apparently lol).

Working behind a bar is great, especially when you can grab a load of qualifications while you do it. Taking my NVQ 2 and 3 in bar and hospitality and getting my Personal Licence was well worth it :)
Question Author
Yes indeed worth it. Almost any real ale is good. Tanglefoot is one of my fasvourites. We have a wee brewery about five minutes away. A one man setup, he does some really good tipple. Dursley Steam Bitter, Severn Swans, both very good, available in local pubs.
Tanglefoot is nice, I like alot of badger ale brews! Golden Glory is a nice drink as well. I can drink anything ale wise as long as it isn't too dark, I can't do with really dark ales. Although I do like Brakspear triple but it's strong!

All this talk of ale lol I'm parched.....
Question Author
Likewise! but it's a bit early yet! I've got some Spitfire and Hobgoblin in the fridge for later though!
Ah Hobgoblin, my step father bought me 8 cans of that for christmas, they didn't last very long.

Too early? ah well not for me, it's evening lol ;)
I'm on the wagon at the moment actually!
g'morn wbm.....wot am I doing up? Am too hot ;)
Well I fell into prison about a quarter till three
Where I found in my cell a glass waiting for me
So I filled what was empty and I pulled up a stool
But he stood in the corner, the old devil wouldn't move
He said, "You drink when you're lonely." No I drink when I want!
He said, "You'll never be sober." Sure. Why would I want that?
I only drink to be merry but unfortunately
I'm in the wrong prison cell and the wrong company..

Hot? hot? it's a brass monkeys situation where I am at the moment...
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha, you're back - I thought it was probably your computer and you'd be back before too long but you can't help thinking some awful things when it's all so quiet.

GOOD MORNING WBM - I trust you and Mrs W are well and have not succumbed to the polar bears.

We've just seen the last of five days over 40+ - aren't you jealous ????? have a good day, best wishes, seeks xxxxxxxxxx
Question Author

Nice verse diz.
Well you can't beat a bit of 'Flogging Molly - The wrong company' to start the day, or end a day even. Well I have to go out and go to the shops, shame I have to take the bike, stupid car is stuck on the drive :/
Question Author
