Ooh yes, but not as much as opening the egg and seeing a beak & feathers
you need one of those egg timers from lakeland. shaped like an egg, you put it in the pan with the eggs and it changes colour depending how hard/soft you want your eggs.

Magic!
:-)
I like them a bit runny but I don't mind too much if they are hard

I seperate the egg and poach the yoke. Can't stand egg white unless it's meriangue.
i made same yesterday and the eggs were XL so even though they were in for 6 mins they were snotty.

aahhhh yes....snotty is a good way to describe an egg???
how about phlemy then??? :)

Hi 4get , I bought one of the in-pan egg-shapped egg timers last week and they're very good . It is disappointing when it's hard boiled and you have a lovely side plate of soldiers waiting to be dipped .

aw thanks daniella you know what to get me for xmas now :-) and elvis whats wrong with boiled egg on toast for dinner???? Its quite healthy. I usually can cook an egg and put them in for 6 mins as I keep them in fridge and dont like snotty ones. but I was trying to put my washing out so after 6 mins just took it off stove but the eggs were still in hot water :-(

oh yes bigmamma if that happens with soilders you kind of have to scoop the yolk out and spread it on.
Thats 'snot' aspect is why I won't eat egg white.
