actually, I'm not, Arrods - a half-and-half here - I was born in the Lakes, grew up there and was christened down here, my mother being Cornish - we holidayed as kids in St. Ives mainly, not least as my grandparents couldn't handle us - four kids, the mater an only child! The parental units moved down here way back in the 80s....

Ah, my mistake. I mentioned on a previous thread that we bumped into two sisters in Mannings Hotel, Truro who were cycling to John O Groats to raise money for a children’s cancer charity. Just checked, they’re due in Dumfries today. Lovely ladies.
