Morning Friday already the end of the working week for some of you.
I hope you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one.
Do you have anything planned for today?
I will be doing some physio today like Trying to manage the stairs, something I am not looking forward to. Still onwards and upwards as they say. I expect to be staying for another day or so.

I haven't had a lot of sleep so if I disappear it's because I have nodded off.

The stairs are a daunting prospect especially on crutches. How are you today?

Plodding along nicely thanks Em.
Been on crutches more times than I wish to recall, pretty good at breaking myself.
It's a learning curve, have faith in yourself.
You can do this!!

I have done well so far as its only been a day since the op or so the physio said.

I would give anything for a coffee but I guess it's a bit early. One thing is the food and drink is plentiful and not too bad for hospital food.

The physio will ease you into recovery, try your best.
If it becomes too much let them know.
Surely they have a plan B

How did the op go, Emmie? I hope you're making steady progress.

I've got the day off. OH finishes work at 10:30. My mother is coming up and will hopefully be here at lunchtime. We're having our belated housewarming tomorrow night so shopping and housework will be the order of the day today.

Op went well though took over 3 hours but am getting around with a zimmer frame and then crutches later on.

Knee hurts but they give you pain meds to help

Getting up the stairs will be a trial I know. Bending the leg hurts. I had to have an x Ray yesterday which was very painful getting on the bed

No I must admit that I thought it would take longer to get up and about.

Probably chicken with penne pasta. The menu is quite good.
