To answer your question, No, it's not normal for most people.
I will not judge you and please stop judging yourself. It's fine to post on here but please try and talk to someone. The Samaritans are always there and have been a help to me in the past when I thought I had no one else.
//Could be normal for an alcoholic//
Theres at least 2 other (ex) posters on here that I know of anne who named you as a reason that they don't post anymore. stop stalking me with your vitriol as well, I don't need it, GO AWAY from my posts
Nailit.. please don't get yourself any more upset than you already are..understandably..... have you eaten ? if not go make a bit of toast or something...
Really you have made that up re ex posters, I'll leave you're thread as all you want just now is tea and sympathy, as for stalking, oh you, ? Oh please !!!!
Nailit, you say it’s not normal, and you might not realise it but that’s a positive statement. If you know something is wrong, acknowledging it is the first step to solving the problem, so give yourself a pat on the back for that. Go back to your doctor, have a frank conversation with him, tell him you want help – and accept any help he offers. Good luck. x
Go and sit in the Dr waiting room now for an emergency appointment. If he sees you plastered at this time of the morning it will be more real that just going tomorrow when you have sobered up.
What else can the Dr do? Can they send you to rehab? I know it might seem a bit daft but have you tried hypnotherapy? It may be able to help as a coping mechanism for the stress that occurs when you are tempted!! Having never been in your situation I don't know.
Sometimes Dr have this theory that if you are 'well enough' to come to the surgery or make an appointment you are not as bad as you think!!!
