Sunday. No frost this morning! Cloudy though.

We had some lovely people came into the Visitor Centre yesterday. One couple have lived half a mile from the G and S canal all their lives and didn't know it was there! Hard to believe, but true. The joined the trust and both would like to train to crew the boat. A good result!

Afternoon oz. It was an enjoyable day indeed.

I'm OK thanks my old mate. I was treated to dinner on the way home. Also, I'm out to dinner today too. :o}

Woke up very early to the sound of all the smoke alarms singing their heads off.

No fire, we've had hot dry westerly winds for days and last night a cool damp easterly breeze rolled in. End result, lot's of condensation in the house, smoke alarms couldn't tell the difference.

The fact that we went to bed with the airconditioner blasting made no difference ;-)

I made a curry pie a couple of days ago. Not bad. I'll get to have another slice of it tomorrow.

Beef. The shortcrust pastry was a mixture of plain and wholemeal flour.

I'm impressed, frozen sheets is my usual.

But I do my own fillings.

mum fine..still tucked up in bed....although angry about brother's recent meddling...a ...quite stern..e mail has been sent to him putting him in his place , don't expect an answer though.. cold back on chest ...sob..cough cough...

I'm glad mum is aware of his duplicity, that should make it easier to deal with. I can imagine the email! Sad, but it had to be done.

will not do much today..perhaps a wee trip out for afternoon tea/coffee then back here for dinner..tomorrow have to have her home by 12 as new smart meters being fitted..
