The dreaded SIL has decided she would like to come in August after all . OMG, I think I will arrange a business trip when we get her dates.

Sounds like a plan to me, good luck.
Good plan! :-)
Is that you don't like her or only in very short doses?

Does she live near enough so that you can pop in to visit her and negate the need for the August catch-up.

Is she Mr San's sister and if so is he on 'your' side or 'hers' - men tend to be wimps in such matters.

She is Japanese Wolf, so thank goodness I don't have to see her very often. Mr.Sam adores her, and suspects I " have my reservations " but I am unendingly polite to her. She is his senior by 8 years. But I refuse to call her Older Sister ( as they do ) , she is not my sister, she is a know it all. I could go on and on and on.
Snuff sed!
sure she is from Japan and not Singapore ?? sounds verrrry like my sis !!
Family is family and friends are friends. Most times they are not both at the same time.

Family is tolerated, friends are welcome.
Maybe they are related through aliens, minty and Samurasian.....

I read your answer, initially, as she is a Japanese Wolf

I have one brother and one sister-in-law who I love very much (I have to say that as he is an AB person) but I hate anyone in my house for more than a short time. Thankfully, since there three foot of cat hair all over, I don't get many visitors.

I haven't been to visit them for a few years. Mostly due to my ongoing mental health 'issues' and the difficulty in getting the cats into a cat hotel.

Good luck in your attempts to deter 'older sister'. You could take ill and retire to your bed with your laptop. :-D

Don't you mean bore?
DT knows what he means! :-)
I feel kind of sorry for her in that she is coming all the way from Japan (I presume). Can you not just swallow it and tolerate her for a little while?
exactly, boaty, a mere play on letters, wolfie... ;-]
