Monday. Cloudy this morning. But no frost. A light breeze. If it's like this tomorrow morning I shall be happy. Good conditions for a four hour drive.

Tiggy is still rootling about, ignored his supper so far. If it's still there at sparrow cough the jackdaws will have it.

A busy day today, getting ready for the off in the morning.

no idea but it really didn't like me. finished, well almost, the sewing I have been doing. lots of concentration as invisible thread on organza. have to keep giving up because it makes my eyes sore trying to see where the thread has gone.

had a lovely phone call the other evening. most unexpected and most welcome. trouble is I was feeling half-asleep. ah well just one of those things. hope my friend forgives my less than scintillating conversation.
