Friends coming to dinner today. I'm looking forward to that. The snowflake will be in attendance. :o} So lots to do today.

Good morning, a tad chilly this morning, at least the dogs let me sleep till 6am!!! Will be cooking a sunday roast today, but will cook 2 chickens so that I don't have to cook for the next couple of days.

Your friends are coming to see you so don't worry about the state of the house etc. Have a good day!

That's the idea. I will have to take it out to add a bit of herbs etc. to it. But it should be OK.

I've got the starter and pud to do too. I usually do those the day before, but I was on the canal yesterday.

had a frustrating day yesterday...had to get mum a new telly in conservatory..got that set up..went to cemetery with 2 dozen red roses for dad..mum got all teary....decided to cut her grass but could not get garage door to open...looks like someone has tried to get in and damaged lock...so bro is going to force it today and replace with hasp and padlock...was an ideal day to get her grass cut too GGRRR.. however we brought mum back here as she was too teary to leave..I cut my own grass..had a nice ham salad and watched the voice final..then oh took mum home around 9.30 pm ..brother arriving from Dufries around 11am....day in the garden for me if weather permits
