... but if I'd wanted an "Enhanced Shopping Experience", I'd have gone to Bluewater (or some other Temple of Mammon).

What I actually wanted was somewhere to sit in reasonable comfort whilst I waited for my plane ... but you've removed virtually all the seating and replaced it with horrible fast food outlets and overpriced shops selling useless tat.

You are a bunch of useless twits (sp?) and I shall add you to the list of "Airports I No Longer Use".

However ... that was a couple of days ago.

Now I'm getting stuck into some cold white wine and some excellent seafood tapas. Palma is lovely and they even seem to have laid on some sort of festival for my weekend away.

Cheers :+)

Hi Dave, is Gness with you?
If you think Stansted is a shopping mall, you should see Heathrow.
Haha, whilst you are enjoying the sunshine abroad, we are having a heatwave here - I'm SURE all other ABers will back me up!?! Take no notice of the news/weather channels, it is NOT wet, cloudy and miserable here at all.
I've never had a problem finding a comfy seat at Stansted ;-)

Huge street market & lots of noise and excitement, Prudie.

It went on quite late last night ...
Pity - I am looking for used stamps for Oxfam. I am also looking for old and not so old postcards for them to sell. Our shop is a nice wee shop and only a short distance from my home.

Enjoy your short trip and I hope that you are greeted with much excitement when you get home. I get ignored when I return home from anywhere.
