...I had a lovely day in the garden today.....calm and sunny.....spring was in the air and the garden started to look alive when I'd finished....even sat on the patio with a glass of red........
Now it's covered in snow........ I need patience..........:-(
You must be joking, it's like Siberia here, all my gritting is in vain, if the temperature rises to over zero the sheet ice up the steep drive melts a bit then as soon as the temperature drops it the melted ice re-freezes. Been like this for several days now. You'd've been better with a glass of white wine here, it would've chilled within minutes outside.
Don't know which way it's heading, Ummmm...lots here....
The shed is quiet and tidy.....must remedy that.....any ideas, Psyb?
Prudie....can't be doing with these half measures....when the snow came in Canada it arrived feet deep and stayed for five or six months....this is just teasing....
Dizmo....only drink draught Guinness...but this red is nice...and I'm always relaxed....just eager to get cracking on with the garden...x
Dizmo must know where I live if he's calling me duck......☺
Dave.....all that happened in the time it takes to bake 30 scones and 3 lemon drizzle cakes....it was beautiful not long ago.....
Cory...I have a steep drive like that...seems to gather all the water from the close and sees no sun.....visitors step onto the drive and two seconds later are spread eagled against my front door......☺
Sloopy....when I was young we had a really grumpy man in our chippy..... to annoy him we would loosen the top of the salt pot so the next person had the lot on their chips.....x
it's had a couple of half-hearted goes here these last two days, but nothing serious yet - the ice is seriously another thing altogether, the locals are muttering "you know nothing Jon Snurr"
