Showed me a photo of her, and cant help thinking about her and wondering if she will found safely. have been in touch and she has put out a distription of what she was wearing to police when she went out and didnt come back. I so hope that she is safe some where after missing for 2 nights now

Lost girl or lost woman?
I was thinking a child until you said the mum was 70.
How exatraordinary, puss - did the daughter live with her, then? Unfortunately I understand the police leave it a while if adults go missing (unless there is another issue such as LD) unless there are mysterious circs. I hope all is well.

her daughter is 39, and autistic, not that it has been proven yet believe it or not.
She lives at home , and had a spat with her dad and walked out and hasnt been seen since. I dont know her but its been on my mind all day now
the police will have been doing all they can from very early on then if she is autistic.
her parents must be very worried.
Id hate to think that someone may make this sort of thing up, but sadly you do need to be careful when strangers knock on your door

The lady was on my dootstep in freezing cold, and looked so distraught.
daughter left her house in carpet slippers, no coat, no money. She said that hubbie said " Dont tell police yet" but she was on a search knocking at doors streets away.
I I asked for phone number and rang her house later and was told a few facts about her. She was a very genuine lady
her hubby said dont tell police? omg how odd.

i hope that they find her soon, even if she doesnt want to come home.
Question Author
this 39 yr old has definately got c.o.d, not sure what that entails as I know no one with it.
so glad that the mother ended up at the police station giving a distription, after saying that hubbie said no
Question Author
glad i rang the house, maybe to ensure it was genuine or not. had a long chat with her hubbie who instantly said that his wife was at police station for enqueries. he poured his heart out and said that police had rang him already so got to believe the man.
p.s. She has c.o.d. Plus Autism ?
I am aghast as to why the womans father would not want to tell the police, that is almost a crime in itself to not try to help a vulnerable person.
what is c o d?

well --the lady obviously changed her mind and to police after knocking on a few doors, and police rang her house to talk with her husband? he is very upset and thinks something awfull could have happend. He poured his hear out to me and told me things that I cant post at mo. He is so scared and broke down while talking to me. poor fellow, and I dont even know him. I wish I was winding you up, but sadly I'm not
C O D compulsive obsessive disorder (I think)
hmmm
Question Author
C.O.D. compulsive disorder
oh, OCD
I sometimes buy the Big Issue and there is usually something in it about persons who are missing, some vanished years ago. I think that it must be totally horrendous to have someone you love just vanish and have no idea if they are dead or alive.

I hope that they find her - all three of them must feel awful about it.
Why did the old lady knock on your door, do you live in the same neighbourhood?
Question Author
whoops OCD! not first time she's disappeared , always comes home a few hours later , but 2 nights! bit scary for parents though. She seems to have an old lady friend who may be her friend on a local road, thats why the mother has been knocking on doors to find out who she may be and if she can help in locating her daughter. If she has seen her since wednesday
ah mick, the voice of reason :)
