Lol b00, you know that is about right, no wonder they are trying to stir up animosity, they dont want to lose their perks!
I worked at british leyland cowley in 1972 for 9 weeks and during that time i did'nt have a full wage packet due to the unions actions.. once on nightshift I had to leave work at 1am and get home by hitch hiking.. Unions don't give a fig about the working public .. its agenda is much deeper..
But im sure if the strikes go ahead Cazzz, these bosses will be there on the picket lines right with them, handing out little gifts of money to their supporters.
I thought that "battle lines" were drawn in the pre-election period, when both sides agreed that cuts were needed but in the case of Labour cuts in a more leisurely rate and the Tories wanted cuts straight away. Labour lost the election which would suggest that the electorate didn´t want to wait for a slow cut in expenditure and I do realise that the Conservatives didn´t win the election.

The public sector has had it good for far too long in my opinion having their jobs guaranteed as well as their pensions. When Labour was elected in 1997, Gordon Brown creamed off the Private Pensions whilst maintaining the public sector pensions.
Sorry, but the public sector has no got to stand up and be counted, but unfortunately, they will sit down and go on strike.
yeah, merc parked around the corner..
And whilst im at it, in every employer ive been with im always refused to join a union, ive always considered them money grabbing trouble makers, and the 5 or so quid per month is better off in my pocket instead of theirs...thank you very much!
Who'd have thunk it B00? well me for a kick off.....
Seriously woofgang? I admit im a bit of pleb when it comes to unions and stuff and know sod all about them, but id have bet my last penny on the bosses recieving a fat wodge out of it all, and if The Sun is to believed- i was right.
The policies of the government are designed to get the economy out of the mess that the last government got us in. People voted for this government, they didn't vote for the unions to conspire with labour to bollix it up. If the trade union view is to ignore the democratic process then we need legislation to keep them under control. Though it would be better if we didn't have to.
seriously B00 yes...look at the Chines fat cats and the Russian fat cats. Workers of the world unite...it makes it so much easier for union leaders to screw you!!
At least this government is trying to sort out the mess.

Can you imagine if Gordon was still in charge. The debt would be growing even bigger, leading to far worse problems in the future for the British public.

No way would I join any strike.
Never ever ever under any circumstances cross a picket line
