which means what?
-- answer removed --
No. Depends on the natural build of the female. A stocky 5'4" lady may well take a size 16.
No - have you noticed in shops that the most popular sizes to go are 14/16 - there's always loads of 10s and 8s left
it's big but I am taller and bigger so I can't comment. Body Mass Index is still a good guide, although not the only indicator http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/bmi.htm
which means i better keep my gob shut .

but now you ask. Yes imho it is well overweight.
As far as I am concerned .. yep.
I'm 5'1 and a size 14/16, so yes, im over weight, do I care though? Do i buggery :P

size 16 shoes?
Well im a woman, and I've already said I'm overweight.
Yes but in BOOs case she buys extra big clothes with big pockets for the cake she carries with her
so am I and so am I
I'm a size 16 on the bottom half and an 18 on the top BOO, and am tall. I am verging on the to of 'normal' with my BMI. Years ago I was a 10/12 ,ha, ha!! My BMI was then at the bottom of normal and almost underweight. Can't win really.
^ i did the BMI chart and it said 65th quartile....
'on the top of normal'!
I dont need to see a BMI chart thingy, the several spare tyres and cellulite already tell me the worst :P
