I won't defend him.
I'm not sure there is any point 'to' him, but as we don't have capital punishment, in this country, we'll just have to put up with him.

Out of interest, would you have been okay with them being hung as children, or kept in jail until they were 18, then hung?

Purely out of interest - this is a non-judgemental question...
By publishing the date of his trial the press have just given people the opportunity to learn his new identity by searching for cases of the same type on that date in all UK courts.
In think it would have come out anyway daffy.

Hanging kids? sp1814 What planet do you live on? Did I mention hanging kids at all, or do you assume by the link with the gallows that's what I meant? Please ask firstly "What do you mean and you would've got the answer. Look at what was said before I posted.
docspock - please re-read my post, and then after thinking about it for a while, post something constructive. If you cannot do this, then please feel free to ignore anything I write, as I will do with you...okay?

bigfoot3000 - you posted a picture of gallows. I asked whether you thought they should be hung.

If you're going to be cryptic, what do you expect?

(Seems like the hot weather is bringing them ALL out tonight).

Them? sp1814, but you are here too which then makes you "Us" Which now is "Them" to an outsider if I'm right?
no one is going to defend him.. what a ridiculous comment.
A barrister will be appointed to defend him...
Nobody in their right minds would defend this sh1thole, but someone will receive quite a bit of dosh for defending him in court. Legally what can be done with him?
well yes, Mark (grrrrrrr) but beastmonkey meant us, Joe Public!
Fortunately, our justice system still works on an 'innocent until proven guilty' system.

Venables will be tried, and if found guilty, he will be sentenced, and hopefullly all the knee-jerk vigilante nonsense that always crops up around these instances will die down ... unitl the next time.
I would hang the Little Bustard.
For little bustard read b.as.***.
Doesn't sound as if innocent until proven guilty applies on answerbank does it?
i wont defend him why would i???
