My youngest - 12 - was invited to a party for a friends birthday - sleepover from 4 yesterday, swimming this afternoon and back to girls house after. I didn't allow her to go to sleepover as I don't trust the fathers supervision - child is spoilt and allowed do whatever - mother alcoholic and not living there - so she is going to swimming etc this afternoon. I was asked could I help with lifts from swimming back to theirs and I said I would. Last night my daughter rang her friend to check times etc and was rudely told 'I can't talk am watching movie and we might not be doing anything now' - this morning all their phones are off - I have sent text to the father asking for details. People are so rude and ignorant. They don't live in same area as us either so cars are needed
Upon one's own definition of dysfunctional the supervision of one's own child is imperative.
Take her out yourself today, anywhere she wants, go shopping and spend to buy an outfit.
my daughter is fine - everton - she is planning stuff with other friends - this girl is in school with her, has learning difficulties and tends to be clingy - I don't think mine wants to go at this stage - but shopping always sounds good LOL
I think your daughter may have had a lucky escape from the swimming.................isn't there now some Heath & Safety Regs saying there must be X number of adults supervising Y number of children at swimming pools?
I think there must be craft - I was going to stay at the swimming and then help ferry kids back to house after. No luck with that doc - am on iPhone and sometimes can't access
I can get utube. I have a work computer - no sound. We have a home computer - very slow and needs a doc and my hubby has a netbook and if he's not using it one of the kids is. Poor me eh LOL
what a delightfull family!!!!!!!! maybe take your daughter swimming or give her a treat to make up for it shes a lucky little girl to have a mum like you who worries so much xx
