Well you're lucky the bottle didn't break

3 Years is recommended as the minimum sentence.

You do realise don't you that although the maximum sentence a Magistrate can impose is 6 months they can refer to a higher court if they feel a stiffer sentence is justified?
Hopefully they will change the law before you come to court, and you get 10 years.
All this whineing about being drunk and trying to use it as a defence should double the sentence.
People like you need taking off the streets before you kill someone.

Not the answer you were looking for ? well next time, ensure someone who's brother in law hasn't had his life ruined and been blinded by a drunken thug with a beer bottle, doesn't read your postings.
Being drunk is an AGGRAVATING factor - not a mitigating one. OK, so its a reason, but not an excuse.

You will be lucky if you get a non custodial. You may also get some form of community punishment to deal with alcohol abuse.

Depending on your previous and the full circumstances, you may get a suspended.
I think your going to a big house where the only glass they have is covered in bars!!

As the post above says, being drunk is not an excuse an the courts take the stance that 'self induced drunkenness is not a mitigating circumstance'. You clearly haven't learned from your community order so you are obviously not taking the judicial system seriously and therefore hopefully you will get a custodial.

Or in language you may understand... ' the courts kicked ya ass an you just dissed them so yo ass is goin dooooown!.... oh and will hopefully get stretched by big dave in side!'
