You have to ask yourself why he was not assassinated like Benizir Butto who also had strong ties with the West. Could it be he was playing a double game, pretending to be friends with the US whilst at the same time allowing terrorists to live and plot within Pakistan's borders? Therefore his replacement can only come from those sympathetic to the terrorists.

Perhaps we would do better now to pull out of Afghanistan, and sort out this hive of terrorism.
