According to veryhelpfulguy it's status quo, does that mean things are going to go down down deeper and down?
DrFilth Tue 13/05/08 23:29
status quo of labour, brown will tell us before the next election you can have WHATEVER YOU WANT we are ON THE LEVEL and tell darling IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT we are going DOWN THE DUSTPIPE
shaneystar2 Tue 13/05/08 23:31
People will vote if they feel like it come what may .Just because I chose not to vote to in the recent by elections I very much doubt the loss of one vote will bring down the government .
The turnout in recent by elections speaks for itself .
I think people are sick sore and tired of a lot of things in this country at the moment .The government treat those who work hard like milchcows and keep others in a poverty trap ,bung benefits at them which gives them no incentive for them to work for what they want, They create so much red tape and paperwork it's unbelieveable .
I don't know what the answer is .All I know is I have worked paid my taxes ,brought my family up,contributed my bit and at the end of the day I am worse off .
The other mob are no bettter ..they encouraged the work and private pension ethic and now we sit here with the current mob creaming off our hard earned . You are shafted whichever way you look at it .
DrFilth Tue 13/05/08 23:32

DrFilth Tue 13/05/08 23:35
the only way i would see 40 grand is a lottery win
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:35
Isn't Blair advising Brown at the moment - according to the lovely Cherie? I don't want either of them. Both as bad as each other (in different ways)
Ice.Maiden Tue 13/05/08 23:35
Get rid of the lot of them! There's no one strong enough to bring in sensible laws and guidelines. peasants revolt! it's been done before, and it'll be done again.
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:36
Serious question.
Who is able to bring a vote of 'No Confidence' against a government when it is obvious that it is failing?
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:37
I'm already revolting Ice-Maden! ;o)
shaneystar2 Tue 13/05/08 23:39
Nobody LL ....they all drink from the same trough !
Ice.Maiden Tue 13/05/08 23:40
Bless, lofty - I'm sure you're not.
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:43
Then revolution is the only option and I would seriously more than willing to risk life and limb to get rid of Brown and Co.
Off to print my banner..........................
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:45
I can't even string a sentence together properly now!
shaneystar2 Tue 13/05/08 23:45
Quite right dear ..I'm right behind you .."Freedom for Tooting".
Ice.Maiden Tue 13/05/08 23:48
Lol! Freedom for most of the British Isles!
DrFilth Tue 13/05/08 23:50
reading your posts on ab i was trying to think which mp's i would trust.................i can only think of two john reed and hazel blears, i cannot even remember my local labour mp's name.i don't think i will bother voting next time
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:53
You can't vote if there is noone up for election that you want, so I can't vote. I don't do tactical voting.
pastafreak Tue 13/05/08 23:55
Who are the people who should but won't profit from this generousity?? Has that been mentioned yet??
LoftyLottie Tue 13/05/08 23:57
Well Shaneystar and I to start with! Any people between 60 and 65 who are retired and have a small private pension.
