How did that go?

Plus Sunak has denied Brexit is having a negative impact – we’ve got no hope with such a deluded fool in charge.

It makes you wonder how such incompetents manage to become prime minister.

I think that unlike some he's realised were out and cant go back for 20 years so we got to accept it and make the best of it... and part of this is talking things up and having a posative mindset, not constantly looking back and saying 'how stupid were those Brexiteers lets keep telling them'
i know a deluded fool when I see one (well read there posts anyway)
If viewers could define the line between what we should look back on, Agincourt, Battle Of Britain, 1966 World Cup etc and the utterly unimportant and not worthy of a mention, e.g. Brexit, HS2, Garden Bridge etc. it would simplify things.

Going forward.
Still whining?
Most helpful, Spungle, thank you.
There are a lot of incompetents about.
Perhaps he is massively incompetent, but less incompetent that his immediate rivals.
Look at the calibre of the cabinet and see what I mean.
That was for Hymie- for some reason, it likes to bang on about Brexit all the time. And now we are told we must listen to a brum holidaymaker in a shed who sounds like he's got his bollinger caught in a door.
Quite. Thanks again.

At least anyone who thought Sunak might have a modicum of common sense, now knows otherwise.
It is amazingly good, but he hasn't the guts to make the most of it. He's too keen on keeping in with various global groups and so not up to the job of national leader. The problem is, is is clear that any other main party would be worse. These are "interesting" times, we'll be in a better position when they've passed.

So amazingly good – that the Brexiteers are now blaming the EU for the boats crisis.

Lor' he don't half talk a load of gibberish at the start doesn't he. Then he tries to minimise facts he don't like, calling them technically correct. He doesn't seem a trurstworthy source.

Of course the EU has a right to do this or that, but it is the choices they deliberately choose to make that cause the issues.

And what's all this guano about the Tories not telling folk in the EU what to do ? He seems to raise strawmen arguments to enable him make invalid criticisms. Useless.

As for blaming the EU, well obviously. Because Brexiteers, unlike some, like to tell the truth. Granted one assumed the EU would be adult & responsible; maybe remainers realised the EU definitely wouldn't be earlier (in which case why did they support them ?), but we now all know how the EU has responded on everything. And even with them doing their worst, and the remoaners continuing backing them, against their own nation, it is still better than before Brexit; and with restrictions lifted has more potential to get better still on the global stage. That is provided we get rid of the 'do little save kowtow to global groups' politicians, and put an individual determined to advance the UK interests in charge of government.

If Sunak was to read just a small sample of my posts on this site he would be aware that (according to the Office for Budget Responsibility), the UK exchequer is down £40 billion in tax receipts as a direct result of this Brexit – which he thinks is having no negative impact.

What a deluded incompetent fool we have as a prime minister.
16:28, so you know more than a former chancellor! What delusion! If the PM did read some of your dross he'd probably have you sectioned!
OG: "..And even with them doing their worst, and the remoaners continuing backing them, against their own nation, ..." - yep that's the 5C!

As I’ve mentioned many times before, I work for a FTSE100 company – if the CEO announced to share-holders that he had taken a decision that would reduce the company’s turn-over by 15%; I can assure you that the share holders would not be saying ‘he’s made a decision – let’s make the best of it’. They would be saying, let’s get rid of this idiot.

And if the CEO made a decision that demonstrably reduced the company’s turn-over by 15% and the CEO stated that the decision was having no negative effects on the company’s financial performance – they would also get rid of him.
what a load of old deluded pony!
The United Kingdom is not a FTSE 100 company and its government is not answerable to shareholders. It is answerable to the electorate.

Your comparison is specious.

Anyone living in the UK who claims to be unaware of the negative impact of Brexit on the UK is either lying or deluded.
