In the first video, a nameless individual is scare-mongering about banks imposing an annual cash withdrawal limit for customers.
he appears to have missed the important word from his own information - and that word is 'could' - which renders his entire rant as doom-laden speculation.
The second video talks about Australia, so i didn't bother to pursue it to the end.
I have better things to do than listen to self-appointed wonks deciding to use social media to speculate inaccurately about possible bank policies that are still at the ideas stage, and imply that they are already bank policy, which they are clearly not.
The move towards a cashless society is not some dark scheme hatched by banks to erode our personal freedoms, it is the way society wishes to proceed - hastened by the reduction in cash usage caused by the pandemic, a lot of people are now paying on their cards and phones, and cash is slowly reducing in importance.
It will take decades for cash to be removed completely from society, but again, it will be the result of society's wish to do so, not because banks are determined to take our cash away.

I have no D.Ds. and I still use cheques, in response to something TTT asked. I use cash to pay the local lady who has eggs for sale; my hairdresser; the butcher (unless I'm running up a biggish bill like a turkey for Xmas); cards at the Post Office; newspapers (also the Post Office; any small purchase such as a pound of carrots or a loaf of bread. Lots and lots of others - my 'collection'money at church; nipping into the village pub for a quick drink with OH; paying for the Park&Ride bus fare etc., etc.. Life without cash is unwanted and unthinkable.
How could we put a cheque into a Wedding card for our Grandson's wedding recently? A nice surprise for them to open. I will fight tooth and nail to retain cash and control.

It's evidence of the desire of those in control to get rid of cash.

" - that is anything but a nice surprise, these days a cheque is a punishment! Oddly enough I always put the old bangers and mash in cards for the saucepans.
I have tithed to my Church since my pocket money days, these days I pay by standing order. I pay my window cleaner and other regular transactions by bank transfer. Everything else by direct debit, standing order, debit card or credit card.
If a pick pocket gets my cards, I get my money back. If they steal my cash, it is forever gone.
I no longer overpay on the bus or at the car park because I don't have the right change.
I can always prove I have made a payment, it shows on my bank accounts. That is useful if I can't find the receipt.
My banks works very well for me, and they all pay me interest.
