Braverman not fit for office say Senior Tory MPs ,and call for her to be sacked. After breaking the ministerial code for the second time.
After trying to avoid penalty points on her driving licence.and also forced to resign in the Truss Govt. She has twice broken the Code .How many more Home Secretaries , Prime ministers ,and Chancellors are this Govt going to get through before the GE. ....They are running out of them .

She did wrong and deserves to be brought to book. The Tories are among the worst politicians to try and wriggle themselves away from problems.

Which particular Law did she break?

Oh dear Suella .....25% of Tory voters now think you should go.,,,,Rwanda perhaps.

What she (allegedly) did wrong was to ask civil servants to arrange a private speed awareness course, rather than sit a public one.

She was unable to arrange this so took the fine.

Speeding is a civil matter, not a criminal one so she should’ve simply paid the fine or taken the public course. What she did (allegedly) was try to use her position to subvert the rules that the rest of us have to follow.

It’s not the speeding but her subsequent actions that have made this a story.
Which 25% is that, Gulliver?
That is not 75% though. Can you do the maths?
Also - her SPADs we’re asked on four separate occasions whether she’d been caught speeding and four times, her office categorically denied it happened.

of course he cant

The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
She asked IF it could be arranged, as far as I know there is no law in the country that says you cannot ask a colleague for advice.
//Speeding is a civil matter, not a criminal one so she should’ve simply paid the fine or taken the public course.//

Really is that correct?. Cases, should they go that far and contested ,used to be held in a criminal court i.e. magistrates. How times change.

Not being in the room, I cannot say whether she enquired or tried to persuade - but even if it were an enquiry, it is still *very* wrong.

As wrong as, “Hi - I had a few too many at the pub last night and crashed my car on the way home. Is it okay to say my husband were driving?”
If it was wrong - and I don’t see why it might have been - it definitely wasn’t as wrong as that, SP. your imagination is working overtime.
Cruella is going nowhere... she committed multiple breaches of the ministerial code only a few months ago and nothing happened... the time to deal with her behaviour was then and they didn't

It appears now that Braverman is facing new allegations , over her failure to disclose years of work with the Rwanda Govt. She co-founded a charity with Cherie Blair in 2010
Several people she worked with are now key members of the Rwanda Govt, now involved with the UK'S £140m deal to send Asylum seeker to Rwanda
oh dear gulliver wasn't aware of that one... that's a bit of a biggy
* i wasn't aware

I was listening to the News Agents podcast earlier today on the Braverman issue. They floated the idea that this is all good news for Sunak as he doesn't actually want her in the Cabinet because she's represents a real threat to him. At the same time, Braverman with the backing of the ERG could easily walk away from her position and be an even bigger thorn in his side.

Speeding is a criminal offence, and it is dealt with in a criminal, magistrates' court. Having said that, traffic offences are recorded by the DVLA, and a note is made on your licence.

sp: I don't know from where comes your info. but you don't seem to grasp the full story.

And as for giving William the BA, sheesh!

It should go to vulcan at 13:21

As I mention before - I got my info from a daily news podcast - the News Agents (it’s pretty good - most listened-to daily podcast in the UK).

But leaving that aside - what have I missed?
