I never realised quite how much energy Ukraine used to generate: they were set to be one of the EU’s main energy suppliers. The other thing - (apart from apologising (partially) to Austria and Malta) to say is that the Russians probably would not in any case wish to destroy the big power stations as they supply occupied areas too of course.
