It was an urgent question - but they were doing an awful lot of gabbing too.
ymb,

Why did you prefer Truss to Sunak?
I dislike back stabbers, plus I dont agree with his economics. He lorded over the highest tax ever - and from a Tory. That is not the Conservative way -IMHO.

Disappointed he did that though as for quite a while I had him pegged for PM. You can seach my history and find it if you so wish.
She’s totally incapable of dealing with any matters. Important or not.
Come on ZM, she wasnt given a chance. I'm not that keen on her she was the best of the two but the bullies leapt straight on her. The MSM goaded by the Globalists and City boys had knives out before she even took office.

They have their man in now, so good luck everyone, it's going to be quite a ride.
'This lady's not for turning up!' That made me laugh. :-)
YMB, I had no preferences - I didn’t think any of them were up to the job - but I have to say Liz Truss is a disaster.
ymb,

Thanks for answering. Not because of Truss's greater competence then.

Did I imagine this...didn't you change your gravatar to Liz Truss a few weeks ago?//

No, you didn’t imagine it.

No compulsion to vote, but better the Thatcher wannabe than the ‘other fellow’, eh? Lol
When I heard that truss had not turned up in the commons today. I thought she had been locked up in the Tower with Boris. PMSL.
Why didn't The deputy PM stand in for Truss today.
Is Boris still an MP or has he gone back to live in the swamps in the good old US of A.
Here is an update from the original link that some may have missed.

Just for balance. PMSL
As an old Tory I have no experience of barricades. I should, however, in the current crisis, wish to man one. Anyone know if they are easily available? Tried Argos with no success. TIA.
That’s really funny. ‘Everybody gets to be PM for 15 minutes’ says Starmer …… except him! Another ‘wit’ (I deleted the ‘t’) who doesn’t think before putting his foot in his mouth. :o)
Naomi: Agreed. John Smith, Kinnock, even Foot, would have made mincemeat out of the Tories by now.

Starmer did a pretty good job today, probably took it easy on poor Miss Mordaunt though, after all it should’ve been her boss there faxing the music, shouldn’t it?
How come she turned up AFTER the question had been asked?
Very convenient! Lol
*facing
Because she heard talking and had a look in .
Just heard she borrowed Boris' fridge for a few hours.
