Note that Gromit was only referencing what someone else had posted earlier.
Remember, mozz, she is deputy leader of the Labour Party,For Funks Sake, the deputy leader!!!Should she be calling fellow MPs scum?God knows what she thinks about the rest of us?
SP1814- I was talking to Ynnafymmi, I don't know what you're referring to with Gromit.
Ynna- Oh, I'm not defending her words, she should have been given the heave ho for what she said, but connecting that to this killing is a bit of a stretch.
Weird how some minds work. And i'm not talking about the nutjob that did this awful deed but those ABers attempting to make political gain through it.
Meanwhile a family grieves.
This is absolutely shocking and tragic. Sir David was widely respected and a warm, friendly gentleman who always spoke up for his town and his constituents. All murders and stabbings are shocking, but that it should happen to an elderly and lovely man in broad daylight, while he was serving others, is past my understanding. Thoughts and prayers with those who did their best to save his life today, and to his loved ones.
Way of the world Ken, and even moreso, the way of AB.

Can we please all remember that a man has lost his life in tragic circumstances. His children have lost their father and his wife must be devastated. Please keep party politics out of it.
Ynna, I agree with Mozz. Your inference is crass… and that’s being kind.
What an evil thing to do... truly awful.
Oh,come off it mozz, this wasnt an anonymous backbencher, this was the deputy leader of the Labour Party.I dont do Twitter, but i might go on later to find out if she has any weasel words to say about the murder and find out if she thinks her fellow MPs are still scum.
How horrible and shocking. I am so very sorry for his family and friends. What has happened to this country, which used to feel so safe when I was growing up? (Rhetorical question.)

I always carry a knife (v. small) when out sketching and there are many good reasons for carrying knives for work reasons - but it seems that now all and sundry are armed. Carrying anything offensive like that resulted in heavy sanctions when I was teaching, but it was becoming the norm in certain areas. Seems we lost the
argument. This tragedy is the result.
//Ynna, I agree with Mozz//

Who are you and what have you done with Naomi? ;-)
yanna, to save you bother, Angela Rayner said this on Twitter three hours ago:
"I’m horrified by the reports regarding David Amess and an incident at his constituency surgery today.

We don’t know the details yet but on behalf of all of us in the Labour Party I want to say all of our thoughts are with David and we all hope that he pulls through and is ok."
Ynna, if doesn't matter who she is, you're jumping to conclusions by linking that to this killing, and using Sir David Amess' death to make a political point.

If, in a few days time it turns out you are right, so be it, but right now it's too soon to be pointing the finger.

Sorry - that should've been directed at naomi24 for her post at 16.39
Yes - there's too many assuming that this was a political act. For all we know, this may have been personal.

People should keep that in mind.
She’s gone for a lie down, mozz. Not feeling at all well.
I believe the decent and humane way to contribute to this thread is to show some respect for the victim and his family, colleagues and friends. Unfortunately, imo, some posts on here are bordering on the contemptible. The OP has asked for political argument to be saved for another thread.
Have a referendum to bring back CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
At least 80% of the country would endorse it
