Stupid, idiotic but I am sure not malicious in intent.
The goalkeeper saved the penalty.
if not malicious intent, then what?
A stupid, ill thought out prank bednobs.
//A stupid, ill thought out prank//
More likely to have been an attempt to put off the goalie.
well, we'll have to agree to disagree. I can't see what else the "prank" was designed to do other than affect the goal keeper's vision and give england an advantage they would not otherwise have got
It is despicable yob mentality to use laser pens but it's not just in football. They have been used .in other situations for kicks such as aiming at pilots on runways. The people who sell them should be targeted for conviction as well as the knuckledraggers who find them amusing

England have been charged by UEFA for thd incident, and rightly so,I hope they get the scu but out of a crowd of 67,000 , it’s highly unlikely
have a day off sqad, of course it was malicious, you mean the guy waited the whole game and by chance just happened to shine a laser at the keeper when he's about to save a penalty? right oh! some coincidence! Anyway I can't see owt in the video and he saved it anyway.
photo here - not a video and it's on his face but not in his eyes, so I don't know where it ended up

TTT......my definition of malicious is something deliberately set to cause physical damage.
Stupid as it was and using my definition, I do not think that was the intent ofthe perpetrator.
I may be wrong.
Malicious intent isn’t confined to attempting to cause physical damage.
"TTT......my definition of malicious is something deliberately set to cause physical damage." -
malicious: "characterized by malice; intending or intended to do harm." - harm is not necessarily physical in this case he was attempting to harm Denmark's chances.
Damn savage, should be thrashed!
So, fine I was wrong.......it was malicious.
physical damage is not necessary describe someone's actions as malcious.

To call him an idiot is an insult to idiots, whoever this is is evil.
If not malicious, the action was reckless since the laser could have caused temporary or permanent damage including blindness.
"Not malicious" ?

You're having a giraffe!
longer vid - no laser to be seen

Perhaps offering a reward to name the scumbag, money talks and someone in that crowd would have seen the moron do this
