Halfway through watching Casualty, it suddenly flashed up, channel scrambled or unavailable. When we tried to sort it everything went dead,
Don't know what happened but cheesed off with it.

Can't you watch it on catch-up?
Was that through your digi box, Caran ?. Try re-booting it.
Have you turned it off at the socket?
Question Author
It was a recording, forgot to say!
Do you think settings were correct for start and stop times, or did you select record programme?
Question Author
Just selected record programme as usual.
Mine does that sometimes. Don't know why. Do you want to know what happened in casualty. Don't want to upset folk on here by giving spoilers
don't understand then unless you had a short power cut or blip in electricity supply that caused recording to stop, do you still have plenty of memory left, just a thought.
Question Author
Been out for most of the night so don't know.
Anything else electrical with a timer flashing?
Question Author
Nothing at all. Just came home. OH watched match of the day then I started to watch recording of Casualty.
Can you not watch it on the BBC iPlayer?
Sorry then Caran no further ideas then sorry, must be repeated, most are.
Apparently there was an unusually high pressure thing going on that was predicted to mess with the telly and other stuff (v sciencey things - highest ever alledgely). Sorry to be sketchy, but I don’t understand it.
Sherr, don't understand sciencey things myself, but intrigued me to google :-)

Your link is from December but is still relevant because it is happening now too.

perhaps that's why my broadband went down this morning? I don't know, took 2 hours speaking to BT this morning to get it sorted.
