Yes as far as I am concerned he was unbiased. As I explained elsewhere he was in a situation where one side or the other was going criticise him.
And even if I thought he was biased it wouldn’t stop me tuning in if I thought of it

I'll certainly watch and listen to Mr Bercow.
He was a first class Speaker who invariably stood up for backbenchers and their rights, but cared not a jot for the overweening 'Powers-that-be' on the front Bench, invariably Tories in Mr Bercow's time.

I’ve never yet watched an alternative Christmas message and I don’t intend to start now.

In any case I don’t like him but he will be making a copious amount of TV and radio appearances until he gets his own game show/panel show/discussion show.
