In view of the terrorist attacks inflicted upon the British people in the name of Islam, have we every right to show fear, hated and prejudice against the Islamic religion?

I’ve written this many times before but I’ll do it again. Whether it be by conquest, politics, cunning, ostensible integration, or anything else, it is incumbent upon every Muslim to further the cause of Islam – the ultimate goal the creation of an Islamic world. There are no half measures. Never doubt it – and if you do, read the Koran – and whilst you’re at it, have a look at the Hadith.

Naomi, I have never read the Koran, and believe what you say about any religion- I'm sure you know. However, people are people, and psychology doesn't change between religions. So, the two need to be added together. I agree with Andy... I could read every religious book there was, and still not want to attack people. I can guarantee that. It is about character, not literature.

Actually in this instance it does because Islam isn't simply a religion - it's far more than that.

Because they realise that they don't have to be a terrorist to achieve what they want. Whether it takes ten years, a hundred years or a thousand their ultimate aim is an Islamic world. The terrorist's are, in their twisted logic, only trying to speed things up, the rest are quite happy to wait.

Vulcan, I have seen no more evidence of that in real life, than with any other group who wanted their own way.
What people quietly think to themselves, doesn't matter.
I admit that if I see a paedophile has been murdered in prison, my first thought is "good". That doesn't mean I would go out and murder them myself.
Out of interest, as Google really does not want to tell me.... what percentage of muslims have committed a terrorist attack? What percentage are male? Just to get a balanced picture of the causes x

Most aren't terrorists because, since they are not a big enough army to defeat the might of the whole world, they are aware that terrorism will never win – but, nevertheless, many won’t condemn it. So whilst some are creating mayhem for us to worry about others quietly bring other means into play. Just look at what's happened in Europe. They are arriving in droves – they are active in our organisations and institutions, on our councils and in our governments - and we are happily accepting them, encouraging them – and defending them - foibles and all. Up to now a huge success. Result!!

Islam will never win by terror. It has better ideas.

It absolutely isn't moot. If er ever want to understand or improve the situation, we need to see the genuine causes. The above two questions would at least show us where to start.
We must have cross-posted, as I said, it makes no difference of background, unproven "support", if nobody is actually doing anything about it. Wanting something (and not all do) just is not the same as terrorising people for it.

As for the numbers you want, I don’t know if anyone has attempted an estimation – a pretty impossible task in my opinion – but we do have figures for the estimated number of terrorist sympathisers among the Muslim population and it’s not a pretty sight.
