Friday. The weekend beckons again. I hope it's a nice one.

The wee men turned, late, again, Lots of noise as the stripped off all the tiles from the walls,put the new cable in and disconnected the shower, when the new one will be installed I have no idea. That all took a couple of hours, whereupon the went again, not long after noon. I was told that someone would be here today, although he didn't know who! I had to get the GTech out to make the floor walkable without spreading dust all through the house. If they'd arrived on time and worked through the day the job would be finished now. I hope the finished job is better than their work ethic. I have to go out this morning, so they can wait for me for a change.

It was so warm yesterday Tiggy came out, looking somewhat bemused. I fed him and played with him until he got tired and went back to bed. I hope he stays asleep now, he's well fed so should be OK. Crazy wee lad. :o}

I'll be glad when the job is all done and I've got my shower room back. At least they are doing more than was planned, but that is because they can't match the tiles that were on, so they have to replace the lot.

Tonys routine of treatment ....radiation every day (5) for 7weeks, with a few sessions of chemo thrown in for good measure....I think it will feel something like a hamsters wheel when it gets underway !

Good morning, everyone. Can't sleep for some reason. I've got a huge unexplained bruise on my arm. I'm sure it'll come back to me, embarrassingly, later.

Annoyed to see I can't watch the Ashes, because Sky lost the contract. Anyway, our bowlers seem to be doing ok, with the batsmen not doing so well.

I hope your wee men finish the job soon, boaty. It's a pain having stuff half-finished in your house
