I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge twice. Considering my overwhelming fears of heights and open spaces, I survived the first attempt. The second time was a disaster...probably because I knew what to expect. It was a hot July day...I was soaked and drenched in fear by the time I got across. I was with my husband both times. Never, ever, ever again.

Its also 1,825 metres long...1.1 miles. I never knew if was so long.
If that suspension bridge was a bit more solid it wouldn't be too bad ( she says nervously...).
