Oh I doubt she knows herself, Talbot.....

But what is worrying....well I think so....is that she starts by saying she is standing by his family.....
Do you not think she should have the full story....including answers to her questions....before standing by anybody?
I have been Googling but as far as I can find neither Cambridge University or the Cambridge Students Union have any record of
'The Cambridge University Equality Group ' . There are several Black and minority student groups but none with that name.
Possibly someone with better search skills than me can find something?
Going by the headline, it seems his alleged statement confirms that he's guilty of that which he accuses others of.
Diane Abbott constituency where she has been an MP for 30 years has 1982the 3rd highest crime rate in London, the second is Islington, which is Jermery Corbyns constituency since 1983.
The head of CUSU's Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Campaign, Jason Okundaye,

100% agree, gness.
Diane's approach doesn't surprise me but saddens me.
It does me, Mamya......someone in her position...though how she holds it is a mystery to me.....should be visible but holding back until all the details of exactly what happened are clear and finalised....

I feel sorry for those she is going to be questioning...x
Maybe Ms Abbot holds her position by spouting such seemingly supportive comments about her constituents.
I guess you're right, Zacs.......x
The links says he is an HPSP Student at Pembroke College
Health Professions Scholarship Program is the only UK definition of HPSP I can find, A strange subject for someone with such racist views?
Also as far as I can see an HPSP student has to be sponsored by their employer?
any excuse to riot, dead guy was probably swallowing his drugs..self inflicted death, but the cops are the bad guys, don't call the cops, call the rioters instead for all the people who feel an injustice...mmm
Diane Abbott is just about the worst example of tokenism I've ever come across.

Everything she says is borne out of weapons grade stupidity and should be roundly ignored.

The woman is a moron who has been promoted well beyond her very meagre abilities.

It speaks volumes to me that the person Corbyn thinks is most suited to one of the three most important shadow roles is this Cretan.
HSPS, not HPSP, Eddie.

That makes more sense Jim.
I take it that you don't like Diane then, Deskdiary? :-)
"someone in her position...though how she holds it is a mystery to me...."

Here's a clue from her Wiki entry (there's plenty of other sources for confirmation):

"Abbott had a brief relationship with current Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn when he was a councillor in north London in the late 1970s..."
And I forgot to add that she was my father's MP for a few years before he finally took flight from the area. She exhibited a remarkable excess of mediocrity then and has added to that excess ever since. Though she did, of course, have irredeemable feature which made her a shoe-in for that safe Labour seat.
Thank you, NJ...I had forgotten that.....maybe he wishes he could....

I don't think a brief relationship warrants such damaging favour unless there is something she knows about it that he doesn't want broadcast....

That's probably just my wandering mind though and it was all lovely....... :-)
