I'm not sure I understand your Q!
Are you referring to the protests?
The fact that he is black?
The content of the video?
only you can say why you are not surprised. The usual reasons for not being surprised about something is either if you knew the thing before or if you had a pre-conception that X would be the case and then it is
I'd guess, the protests from 'black lives matter'.
Same thing happened the last time a lowlife drug dealer was taken out of circulation. It seems these parasites have some fans.
It was evident to a point within hours of his death, so saddened but nor overly surprised by the reaction.
Any excuse for a riot imo, he was a convicted career criminal who no doubt brought misery on many families, would these same people be rioting if one of their own had been the victim of this drug dealing low life, I doubt it!
I never ceased to be amazed by the casual dismissal of a death because the person who has died is a criminal.

That is not to excuse criminal behaviour, but the standard 'one less/ got what was coming to him/ shan't lose sleep over it ... ' responses that always crop up when this type of incident occurs, truly say more about the poster than the deceased.

I could never be so cavalier about the death of anyone, no matter what they had done, and to pre-empt the inevitable - it has been my house on two occasions in separate homes that have been defiled by intruders, but that does not and cannot mean that I would casually dismiss the death of another human being like this.

To do so diminishes me as a person, so I simply don't think that way.

What about such criminals as Hitler?

Such persons have no right to be classed as fellow human beings.

I can only apologise if it says more about me than the long deceased Adolph.
