I love thunder storms. I just wish there wasn't any damage.

I stayed up last night watching the lightening.

Gosh, I'm only across the sea and a bit away from you, Mikey. No sign of anything here. I'm feeling a bit cheated with all these thunderstorms going on, and I'm not getting any of them.

I love thunderstorms ! The weather has changed here from bright and sunny to doom and gloom in the space of about 5 mins.

We had spectacular lightning displays down here last night. We have had lightning storms before but I haven't seen anything like it.

We were watching it from the patio of a south coast castle and seeing the fork lightning light up behind the trees was fantastic. At that point it was out to sea and although the tops of the trees were moving about we were quite sheltered on the ground and it was still humid.

That was about midnight last night. By the time we were on our way home it was moving north west so up to you is about right Mikey.

Its seems to be slowly blowing over now.

The best storm I've ever seen was in Thailand. We were in a Tuk Tuk and the driver had to pull over the rain was coming down so hard. It was so warm as well.

It would be much worse if you were living in northern France or Belgium. Looking at the lightning website, there's a humongous thunder storm straddling them at the moment.

We had them around half four this morning, so disappointed because it was light and I love watching the lightning at night, we're in Norfolk.

it's all go in plucky little Belgium, but most of it seems to be out in the North Sea at the moment.

The storm has just reached us up here in N.Wales. For now only a distant rumble or two and a bit of light rain, but is getting darker. It is headed right this way. The tracker station showing up for N.Wales is only about a mile and a half up the road from us and is pretty busy right now. The last one was close by at Llansannan.

Here it is, the heavens have opened and the last strike was just up the road a couple of mile away. Off to watch with a cuppa, poor dog hates it and is hiding in the bedroom.

I cut the grass in my jammies, put down the aftercut in anticipation of rain...still warm and sunny , will have to put sprinkler on..humph
