//He will survive because he is lucky enough to live in this great country//
Is that the same great country in which certain people are allowed to burn poppies, flags, books etc?
It passed me by.
You can't just use one or two incidents to claim this is not a great country nailit.

And of course you can always leave.

No desire to leave my place of birth Talbot.
But of course others can if they don't find our laws to their liking.
Sad and predictable response, if you don't like it move....
Why not if you don't like it, Change it...?
So what have you done to 'change it' ?

Change what?
What are you on about exactly?
Ground control to Major Tom.

pathetic
I find posters who can't follow a thread pathetic too.
If it prevents any further misunderstanding - Talbot was addressing David Small.
"....tried killing myself, and I then met Sean. The housing association got us a house in a week and we’ve been living together ever since...."

Gays get HA homes in a week....why?

I am failing at this point to see the connection between being gay and getting housing.

Tambo, contact the HA to ask them why they gave the men a home.
Its in Kroms pink link. Seems the HA home was central to the marriage.
Question Author
Maybe Tambos point is that the more of a minority you become, the easier it is to obtain social housing (gay and muslim?)
Just a thought...

Sorry couldn't respond as I was doing other things.
Derogatory comments of a personal nature are unnecessary. Some of us cannot wait around for a possible reply. As now I am off site.
Is it really, oh.
It all depends on your interpretation of what it means to be muslim. If the koran forbids homosexual relationships then how can this even be called a muslim marriage? The same way that many gay couples profess to have a Christian marriage despite homosexual acts being forbidden by the Bible? There is a clear condraction of terms here.
nope, it's simple, all in allah.....
This is a great Country, but oh my do we have a way to go yet.
