Hopefully ummmm, cant see a happy ending myself.
I suspect the reaction won't be kind in the main but would be delighted to be proved wrong.
Why can't they have a happy ending ? They're gay not terminally sick. Good luck to them .
The might not even live in a Muslim area.
//Wonder how his community will take it? //

Not welcoming , i would guess
I think that people will be openly/secretly joyful/angry, happy/sad etc.

For my part, I wish them a long & happy life together & hope they don't allow any negative reaction to affect them too deeply.

You know that, I know that, most right thinking people know that. Unfortunetly certain religious communities don't know that.
Fingers crossed they don't meet with bigotry or worse.
One of the couple said that some time ago he was refused access to his mosque because he 'wasn't a Muslim' and that his parents considered him to be ill. I don't think they'll be able to live comfortably in any Muslim area - I hope they already live somewhere more tolerant and good luck to them.
You only need to look at the turn out to see how they have taken it.

Is this really the first Muslim gay wedding?
Are both the men Muslim?

Why BA for ummmm Mikey?
Whether they live in a muslim area or not has little to do with it.
Fed up with people who can't endure 'vile online abuse'. Grow a spine and take no notice you wimps.

Wouldn't like to be at the top of a tall building if I was him...
Just WHY do people think that because they know *some* muslims that are a bit liberal that all muslims accept this?
This guys chances of survival are nill.
He will survive because he is lucky enough to live in this great country where most people couldn't give rats about him being gay.
There are many countries in which his survival would definitely be in peril.
Got round to seeing the images. If you wish to marry your same sex partner that's great. Just wonder if you're not fanning the flames of bigotry if you do so wearing semi-religious garb. Don't think that's respectful of others' views. More like taking £10,000 from the Sun and taking the michael maybe.
I only know of one Muslim family in the area I live.
