Wednesday. It's raining and looks like it's enjoying itself so much it doesn't want to go anywhere else! Oh well; I won't have to water the garden today. Yer wee man is saying it's here for some time, so it's indoor stuff today then. I'm sure I can find something to avoid doing...like tidy up my desk. That'll take a week!

Have a happy day everyone.

Yeah, the fires did a good job.

Been away for four + weeks.

Dad passed away whilst I was down at Canberra.

He had a good long life, shame about the way he had to pass.

How things have changed in my abscence. Went back to the volunteering for a couple of hours this morning, missed the place, wonderful people, need to make another imprint of my own ;-/
Hi Chip "n" Doug,
Doesn't roll off the tongue like my two favourite chipmonks.

Sorry to see about your dad mate. Always a hard thing to deal with, especially with you being away.

Morning TWR. All well mate?

All the way to oz for two weeks?
Wasn't away, Canberra is where Mum & Dad lived.
Holding hands with Mum and Dad and saying goodbye when the last breath was drawn was an experience I'm glad I had.

As much as some love each other saying goodbye is very important and helps greatly.
Hey TWR, two weeks?
What a waste of travelling half way around the world.

There is so much to see and do here, bit like most of the world I suspect.
Question Author
My error. Sorry mate. That was a wonderful moment. for all of you. Peaceful, as with my Vera. I hope you understand what I'm making a mess of trying to say.
Question Author
I've been to many parts of the world. Some I'd love to visit again and some I never want to see again! Oz being one I'd love to revisit!
Oz, he emigrated from Oz back to the UK, he sold a business in Woodford, he used to farm Bazile for Qantas, & a few other large airlines, I gather he was the only grower with the best product in Oz.
All too well old mate ;-)

Thankfully most of the extended family had the chance to visit in the last month.

I'm in someways glad he is in a lovely wooden box awaiting to be scattered. Cancer is not selective and can bring some horrendous effects to those who suffer..

Anyway, enough "o" the morbid ***.

Time to celebrate a life and live on!!!!!

Nice one TWR!
Question Author
Quite right oz. As I think I've said once or twice, We kicked the dirst cancer into touch after a long and hard battle, for both of us, it was the second cancer that we couldn't beat.
Question Author
Yup. Life goes on and we have to get on with it.
