Exactly what I have been saying for years.....it was akin to child cruelty to make him and his brother do that.
I think that it says all you need to know about the Royal Family....cold, aloof and out of touch.
But he and his brother are different people altogether, and that is down to one person only....their Mother. She made sure that they grew up as the rounded individuals that they are. I am far from being a Royalist, but I think we should be justly proud of the two of them.

Have heard it said that due to the proximity of trooping the colour and the 'snap' election, Her Majesty attended opening of parliament to reflect that.

mamy....the Queen has been opening Parliament on average, once a year, for as long as I have been alive. The Palace of Westminster and Buck House are still in the same place as they were this time last year. I wouldn't mind betting that the horses could probably have found their own way there and back.
