Generally.....people on the Right politically see him as the best thing since sliced bread; what with all his sensible plans to make the USA a safe and proud nation, etc., etc. whilst those on the Left politically see him as a policy-less buffoon who, having NO political experience believes that running a nation can't be a whole lot different from running a business.
The Right like to sit back ans snigger at the Left getting so exercised by the man and his pronouncements......and the Left like to laugh at the Right for being so taken in by the credulous gonk.
That was the irony of Nixon/Watergate.There was no need for dirty tricks, he was cruising for a landslide, 49/50 states.
Human nature I suppose when one is proved wrong so often. Labour would win the GE, the Brexit vote won because UKIP succeeded in it's primary aim, No one would vote for Trump etc.
When you make yourself look foolish with so much egg on face it is better to remain silent and appear a fool rather than mouth off, continually be proved wrong, and dispel all doubt.
Bound to rankle somewhat when you don't follow the adage,"It's no use getting older if you don't get smarter"
It's easy now to claim that the Brexit and Trump victories were big shocks. They were both surprising: but the former was too close to call for most of the campaign while the latter had several polls showing Trump ahead. I think the thing about Trump was that one didn't think that such an unspeakable individual could possibly win, despite evidence to the contrary
Because concurrently he's the President of USA and a child.

It's not happened before.
Trump has ordered the biggest increase in US weaponry since the Cold War years. Yet on the other hand he is under fire for 'undercover' links to the USSR .Who knows what's on his mind?
Nail-Head, dina.
They doubled down on Remaining in the EU.
And played their Joker on Hilary.

Luckily a stopped clock is right more often than the anti-Trump brigade and so it will be proved again.
Gotta luv EDDIE ... LOL.
For me, it all started with,,,,( grab the pussy). Many months ago I said he was dangerous and crazy, alas I haven't changed my mind . for me brexit has nothing to do with my attitude to trump.
From what I have seen most people don't afford him the respect of getting hot under the collar - they just laugh at him.

trouble is he isn;t remotely funny.
Google Donald Trump uranium.
Usual leftie response, anyone who is opposite to their own mindset is open for insults and ridicule.

Had Clinton won, the right would have accepted defeat gracefully and got on with matters much closer to home.
Cobblers!!!

The right are no different to the left.
Anti Trump list what they dislike about him. Pro Trump just slate the anti Trumps replies.
AOG - //Had Clinton won, the right would have accepted defeat gracefully and got on with matters much closer to home. //

Seriously???

Trump WON and he has spent every waking hour since then spitting poison like a adolescent cobra with personality issues - can you imagine what he would have been like if he had lost?

He hasn't managed to accept his victory gracefully, what on earth makes you think he and his supporters would accept defeat the same way?
People get hot under the collar because he is a corrupt, narcissist, deceitful megalomaniac who has access to the nuclear codes.

He makes other politicians look like saints. That is how extreme he is.
I'm taking a wild guess here, but maybe it's because he's the elected leader of the free world and therefore the way he acts and the decisions he makes both matter?

Also, Trump explicitly stated that he was going to "keep the country in suspense" about whether he would accept the election result if he lost. Multiple times said he wouldn't.

Trump treated the election like it was a game show - because that is his experience.

Trouble is, he treats the Presidency like it is his own business, and that is the root of every single issue he has created thus far.
