Pmqs: Jeremy Corbyn Claims Theresa May In Denial On Nhs

I know Corbyn doesn't have many supporters of this mainly Tory AB, but I think he has got Mrs May on the run here.
If the Royal College of Nurses, the Royal College of Physicians, the BMA , and the Red Cross all say that we have a huge crisis, why won't she do something about the situation ?
She has so far refused to acknowledge that the Red Cross.are correct...is she in denial or is the NHS still safe in Tory hands ?

It amuses me when I see people complaining that Labour did nothing for the NHS! Do they not realise that if it was not for Labour in 1948 there would not be an NHS !!

From the article:-Ministers said NHS England had asked for £8bn and been allocated £10bn. But Mr Stevens told MPs that was to cover six years rather than the five-year plan he had put forward.
"I don't think that's the same as saying we are getting more than we asked for over five years."
So, he claims that the NHS hasn't got the £8billion over 5 years it asked for (£1.6 billion per year) because it has got £10billion over 6 years (£1.66 billion per year). Or, if it gets the requested £8 billion in 5 years it then gets £2 billion in year 6.
Not sure that I trust his judgement.

Here is someone who is believable with regard to the NHS. It was published at the time of the 2015 election (but is still relevant) in a publication that I know you respect and trust and it has the added advantage of offering some explanations as to why the NHS has ongoing problems.

Perhaps you could read the article and say whether or not you accept any of the claims that the NHS problems can, to a significant degree, be traced back to Labour's actions when in power. (I am referring specifically to the estimated additional strain on A&E caused by the alteration to GP's contracts as well as the on-going cost of poorly negotiated PFI contracts which is eating up resources which could be better spent on front line patient care.)

If anyone is in denial it isn't Corbyn or May, it is the entire British public; the NHS simply doesn't work anymore, it seems so attractive to the British public because they think it is "free" which it isn't at all.
It should be scrapped and be replaced by something better as happens in other countries.

It all becomes clear when you realize who has just been appointed as the grandly titled "Director of Media" at the Red Cross,(did you realize that they needed one?), step forward....Polly Curtis. The very same Polly Curtis who is an ex Guardian , "Whitehall correspondent" reporter, covering health, social affairs and education. Fond of twitter posting, and writes the blog Reality Check (cheque?). There's your left wing spin, another charity to cross off the list of worthy recipients.
