I think many of us, on both sides of the divide understood that the decision of the referendum would need to be ratified by parliament before it could be implemented. I certainly did. In fact, all we were ever promised was a referendum..

Zacs-Master, yes, it is what you think. If it wasn't there would have been no legal ruling and you wouldn't be heralding that legal ruling. You and the people who are intent on making waves would have accepted the result and allowed the process to go ahead without all these obstacles that are being deliberately created. Poor losers the lot of you.
The will of the people may be a "croc of *&^%" technically and to the SGB, MPs, remainiacs etc but morally it should be respected. In the end the ballot box is supreme and as the US recently demonstrated, the people will exert their power when given a chance. Are you prepared to use any device to ignore the result of the referendum because it didn't go your way?

parliament are unlikely not to approve brexit. but what's likely is the insertion of all sorts of amendments which will prolong debate and provide many more opportunities for remainers to "talk-out" the legislation and make it fail.

I am very able to distinguish between the two, and that’s not a sudden innovation – but I am acutely aware of the change in the attitude of the Remainers since that legal ruling was announced. Now, rather than throw their toys around as they did before, and rather than admit they think the will of the Leavers “isn't worth a croc of sh#*”, as they did before, they instead hide smugly behind the ‘law’ as the reason for their reluctance to accept the result of a democratic vote. What a cowardly bunch they really are – in more ways than one.
