Did you actually watch the programme?

Moore is bang on with this:
"He is saying the things to people who are hurting. It’s why every beaten down, forgotten, nameless stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump.

He is the human Molotov Cocktail they’ve been waiting for. The human hand grenade they can legally throw at the system which stole their lives from them. On November 8, the dispossessed will walk into the voting booth, be handed a ballot, close the curtain and take that lever and put a big &^%$ing ‘X’ in the box by the name of the man who has threatened to up-end and overturn the very system that has ruined their lives: Donald J Trump.

Trump’s election is going to be the biggest '&*^% you' ever recorded in human history. And it will feel good."
Actually he's also doing well because he's on the Republican ticket and Republicans tend to vote for Republicans, so don't overestimate his appeal.

Sure, there are passionate Trump supporters who would agree with everything Moore says, but the main reason his support is so high is because he is (a) not Clinton and (b) backed (theoretically, at least) by a main party. Put Trump on an independent ticket and his levels of support would have fall by easily half in a day -- probably more, at this point.
If Trump is elected President, how will some on the Left go on?

They lost the general election.

They lost the referendum.

Will seeing Trump settled in the White House, be the straw that broke the camels back?
The US has survived a baffled Reagan a dishonest Nixon a philandering Clinton and two red neck Bush'. They'll survive a Trump. Just.
Do I take from your most recent response AOG that you have no issue with Trump becoming President?

Here in the UK, people can stamp their feet, puff and blow, and get their blood pressure to boiling point, but they have no control whatsoever over who the American people vote in as their president.

They can only hold a preference between the two candidates, and to me Trump is preferred over that odious woman Clinton.
// and to me Trump is preferred over that odious woman Clinton. //

I could have guessed you were going to say words to that effect!
I listened to a lot of his speech last night. It didn't sound like the speech of a man about to enter the White House.
He actually reminds me of the ex president of Ukraine, who also talked of jailing political opponents (and did) and had very dodgy hair
And that frightful leer: ye gods - It's almost a physical weapon
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump won. His core vote seems to be holding strong and, rather like in the Referendum, the more negatives that are slung at him - the more backs go up. Meanwhile, I think that it must be getting harder and harder to vote for Clinton. We live in interesting times.
